We recommend booking accommodation as early as possible, as availability in Amsterdam can be limited, especially during busy periods.
Transport
Amsterdam is easy to reach by air, train, and public transport.
- ✈️ By plane: Arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS). Take a direct train to Amsterdam Central Station (about 15–20 minutes).
- 🚆 By train (via Central Station): International and national trains arrive at Amsterdam Central Station.
- 🚇 By public transport: The Amstelcampus is well connected by metro and tram. Nearest metro stop: Weesperplein. At the Weesperplein metro station, take exit ‘HvA’ (Hogeschool van Amsterdam).We recommend using Google Maps or the 9292 app for the most up-to-date routes
- 🚗 By car: Parking in the city center is limited and expensive, so public transport is strongly recommended. No parking spaces will be made available especially for the conference.

Textile ETP on Tour
Hotel
For participants attending the Textile ETP on Tour, the following hotels are suggested:
- UPark Hotel
Please note that UPark Hotel will serve as the main meeting point for the event. The bus will drop participants off there on the evening of the 27th, where the cocktail reception will take place. On the morning of the 28th, the bus for the tour will also depart from UPark Hotel.

- Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Broeierd-Enschede
Transport
- Travel from Amsterdam to Enschede (27 May): A bus will depart from the Conference location in Amsterdam, on 27 May at 16:30, bringing participants directly to UPark Hotel in Enschede.
- Tour Day Transportation (28 May): On the day of the tour, the same bus will transport participants to the companies being visited and later to Saxion University. All departures will be from UPark Hotel, if you are staying at another hotel, please make sure to arrive on time at UPark Hotel on the morning of 28 May.
- Important: There will be no bus back to Amsterdam on 28 May. Enschede Station is conveniently connected to major airports for your return travel.
